Dubai Police Academy offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level degrees in areas such as security & criminal sciences, law, and police sciences, including evening study programmes in law. The training emphasises physical fitness, discipline, leadership, ethical conduct, and decision-making grounded in scientific research. It aims to produce cadets capable of operating in both the academic/theoretical side (law, criminal sciences) and in practical, operational training (police operations, tactical training). The new academy campus is under development in Al Ruwayyah 1, covering about 155 hectares. It’s a major project meant to expand capacity and provide modern facilities. The current campus is located in Al Sufouh 2, which is well-connected. It’s near major roads, transport hubs (bus routes), and also within reach of Metro/tram networks (though walking or local transit may be required).
